I'm sponsoring this fast track for Tarl.

This case is a binding update to the USB bus bindings.
It adds Interface Association descriptors to the bus
bindings as a template for the device tree.

The materials are in the inception.materials directory,
and include a summary of changes, the old and new bindings
and a diff of the old and new bindings and an
interface table.

The case requests minor/micro/patch OS binding
and minor/micro binding for the firmware.

1. Can we change the interface table to add header for both
imported and exported interfaces? I generally use,

     -----------------------------------------------------------------------
        Interface Classification Description
     -----------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Change Comnitted -> Committed for "name" property.

3. Is there an ARC case which covers the old USB bindings? If so
then please add that to the "Description" column. I have a feeling
that this is the first time USB bindings are submitted to ARC.
In this case can we use this current case to establish the OFWG USB
Bus bindings as a baseline and also amend it at the same time?

In past we have recommended that base line bindings be established
before they can be changed. I am not asking for another case for
it but what I am suggesting is that we establish baseline at the same
time we are amending it. What this would mean is that the imported
interface will move to exported interface table as both old and
new bindings are exported by this case with classification of
"Committed" for both. Since old binding is not obsoleted, I think
     we can do that here.

Thanks a lot for the summary, diffs files, etc. That really helps
to understand the differences.

Thanks.

I reformatted and updated the interface table as
suggested including fixing that typo. The file is
under SCCS in the same directory.

I couldn't find a case for the original USB bindings, so we
can say that this case accepts the USB binding as published
by the OFWG and possibly modified by other ARC
cases as a baseline (uncommitted) and that this case creates
a new baseline USB bus binding.

It should be sufficient to state that here, since this
is being logged in the case mail file.

The old USB bindings is covered in PSARC/1998/111. This usb binding is
updated from that old one. Maybe we should point it out somewhere.
