Project Description: This case is intended to update the sun4v Host Type registry for the Scottsdale platform. 2.2. Risks and Assumptions: Early registration of platform Host Type will mitigate overlaps between platforms down the road. 3. Technical Description: 3.1. Details: Scottsdale is a new Blade server for the C10/C48 Constellation Chassis. It will have 2x VF, 32x FBDIMMs, and 2x HDDs. In order for the SP to communicate to the vbsc what vintage of hardware is being used, each platform must have a unique host type. Upon approval of this case, the Host Types Registry will be updated to Include the following definition: SCOTTSDALE 35 FWARC/2007/678 3.2.
