System Administration resetboardsc(1M) NAME resetboardsc - reset the (SC) at the named location SYNOPSIS resetboardsc [-q] [-y|-n] location resetboardsc -h DESCRIPTION resetboardsc(1M) resets the board running in the specified location. The board must be powered on in order to reset it. OPTIONS The following options are supported: -h Help. Displays usage descriptions. Note - Use alone. Any option specified in addition to -h is ignored. -n Automatically answers no to all prompts. Prompts are displayed unless used with the -q option. -q Quiet. Suppresses all messages to stdout including prompts. When used alone -q defaults to the -n option for all prompts. When used with either the -y or the -n option, -q suppresses all user prompts and automatically answers with either "y" or "n" based on the option chosen. -y Automatically answers yes to all prompts. Prompts are displayed unless used with the -q option. OPERANDS The following operands are supported: location Board location separated by a space. Multi- ple location arguments are not permitted. The following location forms are accepted: Sun Fire 12K and E20K: SB(0...8) Sun Fire 15K and E25K: SB(0...17) EXTENDED DESCRIPTION Group Privileges Required You must have platform administrator privileges to run this command. EXAMPLES Example 1: Resetting a board sc0:sms-user:> resetboardsc SB2 About to reset the board at SB2 Are you sure you want to continue? (y or [n]) EXIT STATUS The following exit values are returned: 0 Successful completion. 1 An invalid location was specified. 2 An invalid command-line option was speci- fied. 3 The user does not have valid privileges. 4 Unable to reset the board.
