This case amends PRI specification. There are no new interfaces added to the specification but language is tightened up in few places. See the "diff" file to see the differences. The main differences are as follows, - Remove ambiguity for several of the properties that FMA enumeration uses. Most of the changes are related to XAUI cards, with an additional phrase to clarify the hierarchy expected for diagnosis of a failed SP. Use of the "topo-skip=1" property in the XAUI node is being used so as to not directly enumerate the XAUI node from sun4vpi.so, but we still need the additional properties to identify it (the pcibus and niu enums actually create the topo node for XAUI which are called from sun4vpi.so). - The chassis/sp hierarchy is required to enable diagnosing and messaging the death of an SP. - For "bay" nodes, diagnosis of internal hard disks is a gap on SPARC today. Diagnosis rules exist in Solaris, but few platform (none on SPARC) provide the necessary FM topology to enable those rules. The changes in the updated spec enable the sun4vpi enumerator to construct the necessary topology.
