Not that there's anything anyone can do about it now, and I don't think it needs to be a fast-track, but having a new library version risks the usual address space polution problems from dependent libraries, plug-ins, and the like. :-< Perhaps there's a warning or a release note in here: if you're unfortunate enough to write or compile applications that use libXaw and use libraries linked against libXaw, then you'll need to make sure (somehow) that both your application and your libraries drag in the same version of libXaw, or you'll end up sad.
