Unicode encoding conversion functions to Committed
--------------------------------------------------

OVERVIEW

Unicode encoding conversion functions described in the PSARC/2005/446 are
Consolidation Private interfaces at the moment effectively preventing
developers outside of Sun using the functions although source code is
available at OpenSolaris.org.

This case proposes to change the current interface stability to Committed as
shown in the next sub-section. Once approved, man request via bugtraq will be
filed so that the man page will be available to developers.
