Jbeck owes us all a beer, or whisky, or ... . A NWAM fast track for phase 0
is under time pressure and soon to be submitted. John really felt it needed
more context than could be provided without a discussion, so he filed a one
pager today. It seems none of the SAC staff were available so I hand
assigned it to the 3rd time slot on 14 March as an Inception review. John
got Jim to own the case. John writes:

Blame me for any syntactic screw ups. For safety I set the exposure to
closed, though I suspect this is actually an open case.

Thanks for your consideration and send the bill to jbeck@eng ;-)

This case had an inception review 3/14/2007, and has not been back for
commitment. Can someone clarify the relationship of this case with
2008/532? Is this case (2007/132) just an umbrella? Or is it
superseded by 2008/532? Or will the project team at some point be
coming back for a commitment on 2007/132?

I apologize for rehashing old history, but I'm just trying to clean up
the PSARC case backlog.

Thanks!

    - Garrett

I didn't see anything in the archives, except for the notes during the
commitment.

I meant during the *inception*, not the commitment, obviously.

OK. A quick discussion during ARC business is all that I recall for
this one. I think there was some confusion over it, as it was filed as
a one-pager, intended to be a fast-track, but then seen to be too large
to be a fast-track.

In any event, it's mostly dead. The original NWAM design was just a
prototype. It was updated quite a bit (in architectural detail) by
Phase 0.5. And then much of that design was later junked in the Phase 1
project. I think that's getting closer to integration, so the value of
the original Phase 0 work is quickly approaching nil.

So maybe we should just declare this one superseded?

yep - as Jim mentioned, the design is obselete and
was superseded by PSARC 2008/532. Thanks!
