I am sponsoring this case for Sriram Natarajan and myself and marking
it approved automatic as it is only enables a handful of built-in
extensions in the previously delivered php5.

4. Technical Description

Enabling Additional Built-in PHP5 Extensions
November 3, 2007

1. Summary

PHP5 was delivered into OpenSolaris as defined in PSARC/2007/168.
Several common built-in extensions were not enabled during the
initial integration because they were not called out in 2007/168.

This case documents enabling a number of additional built-in
extensions. Built-in here means the implementation of these
extensions is already included in the currently integrated
php5 tarball and these can be enabled using configure-time
options. There will be additional cases in the future
covering external extensions, those are not considered here.

Enabling these extensions may be delivered as a single
integration or as a small number of integrations if needed due
        to implementation timelines.

This case seeks Micro/Patch Release Binding.

LSARC 2006/231 made those obsolete and/or Project Private. Why are you
importing them?

Are you adding yet another copy of sqlite, or sharing with one of the other
projects that uses it (if so, which one)?

I am removing this dependecy from this case. The project team will
pursue it separately later.

These are PHP bindings part of PHP5 (http://php.net/)

Right, PHP bindings to the sqlite C library. The question is,
what sqlite library are you using for these? A private copy
or one shared with one of the other sqlite users in Solaris?

PHP embeds its own implementation.
