Technical Description: 4.1. Details: The Hydra 10 Gbit Ethernet driver is a Nemo based driver which will provide basic functions for the Hydra Ethernet hardware, and the DMA engines. It includes chip initialization, frame transmit and receive, multicast and promiscuous features, and FMA based error recovery and reporting interfaces. The driver will be designed to work with 10 Gbps fiber interfaces. This case is to integrate Hydra 10 Gbit Ethernet driver into ON. The driver will be supported on sun4v and x64 platforms that provide PCI-Express I/O slots. It will reside in the appropriate platform directories for each of the supported platforms.
