2. Project Summary
   2.1. Project Description:

This case is for the nemo-based Solaris driver for Hydra, a shared
PCI-Express 10 Gbit networking interface that provides network
I/O consolidation for up to six Constellation blades. Each blade
see's it own shared portion of the network interface.

   2.2. Risks and Assumptions:

	None

3. Business Summary

   3.1. Problem Area:

The Hydra ASIC consolidates the network I/O for six blades in
a C10 chassis. This consolidation amortizes the cost of a
single 10 Gbit ethernet port over six constellation blades.

4. Technical Description:
    4.1. Details:

The Hydra 10 Gbit Ethernet driver is a Nemo based driver which
will provide basic functions for the Hydra Ethernet hardware, and
the DMA engines. It includes chip initialization, frame transmit
and receive, multicast and promiscuous features, and FMA based
error recovery and reporting interfaces. The driver will be designed
to work with 10 Gbps fiber interfaces.

This case is to integrate Hydra 10 Gbit Ethernet driver into ON.

The driver will be supported on sun4v and x64 platforms that provide
PCI-Express I/O slots. It will reside in the appropriate platform
directories for each of the supported platforms.

The release binding of the driver is patch.
