This fasttrack is seeking patch binding.

It makes some corrections and updates to the interfaces
presented in PSARC/2008/219, which are yet to ship.

A change marked copy of the full spec has been placed in the case
directory for this case (new_spec.txt) along with a complete copy
of the uncorrected version (old_spec.txt)

The following is a list of the changes with comments:
=====================================================
In Appendix B.5, replace:
typedef int (* hook_notify_fn_t)(hook_notify_cmd_t, const char *,
     const char *, const char *);
With:
typedef int (* hook_notify_fn_t)(hook_notify_cmd_t, void *, const char *,
     const char *, const char *);

- a parameter to provide the callee with context passed in at the
time of registering was missing from this function definition.

-----------------------------------------------------

In Appendix B.5, replace:
int
net_event_notify_register(net_data_t family, char *event,
     hook_notify_fn_t callback, void *arg);

With:
int
net_event_notify_register(net_handle_t family, char *event,
     hook_notify_fn_t callback, void *arg);

- net_data_t is being renamed to net_handle_t.

-----------------------------------------------------

In Appendix B.5, replace:
int
net_event_notify_unregister(net_data_t family, char *event,
     hook_notify_fn_t callback);
With:
net_event_notify_unregister(net_handle_t family, char *event,
     hook_notify_fn_t callback);

- net_data_t is being renamed to net_handle_t.

-----------------------------------------------------

The following two functions were missing from Appenix B.5:
int
net_instance_notify_register(net_handle_t, hook_notify_fn_t, void *)

int
net_instance_notify_unregister(net_handle_t, hook_notify_fn_t)

-----------------------------------------------------

In Appendix B.5, replace:
void
net_kstat_delete(net_handle_t, kstat_t *);
With:
void
net_kstat_delete(netid_t, kstat_t *);

Replace:
int
net_protocol_notify_register(net_data_t family, hook_notify_fn_t callback,
    void *arg);
With:
net_protocol_notify_register(net_handle_t, hook_notify_fn_t, void *)

- net_data_t is being renamed to net_handle_t.

-----------------------------------------------------

In Appendix B.5, replace:
int
net_protocol_notify_unregister(net_data_t family, hook_notify_fn_t callback);
With:
net_protocol_notify_unregister(net_handle_t, hook_notify_fn_t)

- net_data_t is being renamed to net_handle_t.

-----------------------------------------------------

In Appendix B.5, replace:
phy_if_t
net_routeto(net_handle_t, struct sockaddr *);
With:
phy_if_t
net_routeto(net_handle_t, struct sockaddr *, struct sockaddr *);

- the declaration here does not agree with the earlier declaration
listed under "Intrface changes from PSARC/2005/334 - Naming changes."
