    2.1. Details:

    Python notify is a python binding for libnotfy. It provides
    notification support via libnotify for desktop applications written
    in python that need a way to notify users that some asynchronous
    event has happened without getting in the user's way.

    Currently, only desktop applications written in c can provide
    notification support via libnotify. With python notify, desktop
    applications written in python can provide notification support too.

    Python notify is released under LGPLv2.1.
    Its homepage is at http://www.galago-project.org.

    2.5. Dependencies:

    Python notify depends on libnotify and python which are already in
    Nevada.
