4. Technical Description

SUMMARY:
PICL classes and properties are used to model information in the
PICL tree. This case updates the list of classes defined in
PSARC/2000/185 (PICL Classes Specification) to include a class to
identify multipath information nodes which are defined in
	PSARC/1999/647 (Multipath I/O (mpxio)).

PROBLEM:
Need a common PICLTREE class to identify access to multipath
information nodes as defined in PSARC/1999/647.

PROPOSED SOLUTION:
This case updates the classes defined in PSARC/2000/185 and defines
an additional class with which a plugin can associate the
availability of access to multipath information nodes.

	PICL Class Represents Published Under
"multipath" a multipath information node /platform

Expected properties are defined in PSARC/1999/647.

	PICL property PICL Type
	"path-class" String
	"sam-lun" Byte array
	"lun" 32 bit integer
	"target" 32 bit integer
	"target-port" String
	"node-wwn" Byte array
	"port-wwn" Byte array
	"State" String
