I'm filing this case on behalf of Roland Mainz and the ksh93 integration
project. I believe that the case qualifies for self-review, as it has
no external interfaces apart from introducing a new shared library in the
usr/lib directory. (And that library name is already in use for this
particular project on other FOSS platforms.)

If anyone wants to discuss this further, please feel free to promote it to
a fast track.

4. Technical Description

Please note that this is an *open* case.

The release binding is the same as with the previous ksh93 project: a
patch/micro release of Solaris delivering through OS/Net
Stability levels are as described below.

Additional materials (man pages and diffs) can be found in the
'materials/' subdirectory.

This project is an amendment to the Korn Shell 93 Integration project
(PSARC/2006/550, PSARC/2006/587, PSARC/2007/035, PSARC/2008/094,
PSARC/2008/344 and PSARC/2009/063)
specifying the following additional interfaces:

1) Update of ksh93
2) "libdss.so.1" dependicy

                                                   support library

##### Introduction:
This case proposes to deliver an updated version of the ksh93
shell interpreter and related infrastructure as they become
available. Each feature is self contained and independent of the
others, so out of order and partial putbacks at this granularity
should have no adverse impact on the functionality and behavior
of the system as a whole.

#### Part 1: Update of ksh93
The first part of this project specifies an update of ksh93
to ast-ksh.2009-03-10.

#### Part 2: "libdss.so.1" dependicy

ksh93 now requires the (currently project-private) "libdss.so.1"
as new shared library dependicy (this library is used to define
binary "type" plugins for ksh93's type system).
