NAME
     whoami - print effective userid

SYNOPSIS
     whoami [OPTION]...

DESCRIPTION
     Print the user name associated with  the  current  effective
     user ID.  Same as id -un.

     --help
          display this help and exit

     --version
          output version information and exit
